PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition applicable to a human body, much decreased in or completely without using bactericidal agents such as paraben, having excellent bactericidal property, wide bactericidal spectrum and aesthetic property, high in safety, moisture retention and the like, and to provide a solid type bactericidal agent capable of easily preparing the composition applicable to the human body. SOLUTION: The solid type bactericidal agent is prepared by mixing (1) a high concentration solution prepared by dissolving at least one selected from specific quaternium salts and styryl compounds in a 2-3C alcohol under heating with (2) polyethylene glycol under heating, and then cooling and solidifying.
