PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment manufactured easily and at a low cost capable of reducing power consumption and excellent in versatility, and to provide a related transmission control method. SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment employs orthogonal frequency division multiple access using a frame structure comprising a first region subject to the allocation of information on burst data transmitted to a counterpart and a second region subject to the allocation of burst data, and transmits the burst data. The radio communication equipment comprises a transmission means for transmitting the burst data (11-1 to 11-m, 17-1 to 17-m, 19-1 to 19-m), a burst data region grasping means 13 for grasping a transmission area in the second region of the corresponding burst data based on the allocation information on the burst data in the first region, and a control means 13 for controlling the operation of the transmission means based on the grasped transmission area.
