摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor electrode material having high capacitance and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An electrode material for electrochemical capacitor, comprising composite oxide of manganese and zinc whose crystal structure is a spinel type structure and/or a perovskite structure, is used. It is desirable that a BET specific surface area is 50 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more. This electrode material is manufactured by, when drying and calcinating a coprecipitate obtained from a manganese-zinc coprecipitate slurry, cleaning in alkaline aqueous solution after calcinating.
