PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency of a vehicular air conditioner and to improve occupants' comfort. SOLUTION: This vehicular air conditioner comprises air conditioning units 1 and 2 for heating conditioned air with the engine cooling water as a heat source and blowing off the conditioned air into a cabin from blow-off parts provided in several positions inside the cabin, electric heaters provided in several positions inside the cabin so as to be heated by electrical continuity to heat the occupants, an occupant detecting means 74 for detecting loading condition of the occupants, an engine cooling water temperature detecting means 76 for detecting the temperature of the engine cooling water, and a heating control means for controlling heating of occupants by the electric heater and for controlling blow-off of the conditioned air from the blow-off part. The heating control means heats a specified occupant detected by the occupant detecting means 74 with the electric heater, and when the temperature of the engine cooling water detected by the engine cooling water detecting means 76 exceeds a predetermined temperature, the heating control means performs the warm-up control for blowing off the conditioned air toward the lower half of the body of the specified occupant from the blow-off section.
