<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device used for a manufacturing process for a lengthy article such as a glass pipe and capable of also moving the lengthy article in a direction crossing with a conveying direction while acceleration-conveying or deceleration-conveying the lengthy article in a longitudinal direction (X direction). <P>SOLUTION: The conveying device for the lengthy article is constituted so that the lengthy article is moved in a direction (Y direction) crossing a conveying direction while being conveyed in the longitudinal direction (X direction). The conveying device is provided with a conveying conveyor comprising a plurality of taper rollers in which a rotation shaft is made approximately horizontal and a small diameter side is arranged so as to be directed in a direction (Y direction) crossing with the conveying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
