<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a vehicle in a good stopping state even when the abnormality of a parking switch is detected in the vehicle equipped with a manual transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In a stopping state of the vehicle, a parking brake is automatically lock-operated (S54) when an ignition switch is switched from ON to OFF (when determination of S60 is YES and determination of S61 is YES). When the ignition switch 212 is not OFF-operated and when a brake controlling detection circuit has an open circuit (when determination of S60 is NO and determination of S59 is YES), the parking brake is not automatically lock-operated. By this, even the parking switch is abnormal, the parking brake can be automatically lock-operated to keep the vehicle in a good stopping state without going against intention of a driver, in the vehicle equipped with a manual transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
