<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of easily performing switching of connection and disconnection between a backup battery and a load of a backup object. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic equipment 1, when a high-level first control signal is output by a control part 6, a direct clear input of a D flip-flop 12 becomes low level (a direct preset input is held at high level), while a W output becomes low level, and a switching element 11 is turned OFF to separate a secondary battery 2 from the load of the backup object.
