PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating frame X-ray tube providing an improved bearing life, and having a cathode at a fixed radial position with respect to a CT gantry without having drawbacks such as a requirement of excessive magnetic field intensity, limited radial deflection capability of an electron beam, excessive viscosity resistance, and a nonuniform spot shape emitted from a target. SOLUTION: This X-ray tube 100 includes a stationary base part 106 and a passage 107 in the base part 106. The X-ray tube 100 includes an anode frame 102. The anode frame 102 has an anode arranged adjacently to a first end, also has a neck 103 extending into the passage 107 at a second end, and is structured to rotate about a longitudinal axis 140 of the passage 107.
