<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia system including a plurality of unit terminals, capable of ensuring the safety of program update in the unit terminals while reducing the troublesomeness felt by a user as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the multimedia system 10 including a master unit terminal 1 and a slave unit terminal 3, program update processing is performed between an external server S3 and the slave unit terminal 2 in a state where the master unit terminal 1 functions as an interface in communication with the server S3. In the multimedia system, when the master unit terminal 1 is communicably connected with the slave unit terminal 3, property information of the slave unit terminal 3 is acquired, acquisition of an update program is performed from the server S3 to the slave unit terminal 3 through the master unit terminal 1 according the property information, and update processing is then performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
