PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device that hardly generates stripe filming on the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and prevents generation of a black stripe defect image on an image even when a large number of documents with a small printing rate are printed in a low humidity environment. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device includes at least an electrophotographic photoreceptor, a charging means, an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means and a cleaning means, and is characterized in that: a developer contains at least silica fine particles having a number average particle diameter of 0.06μm to 0.30μm; the isolation rate of silicon atoms with respect to carbon atoms derived from the toner base material is 5 to 30 number%; the peripheral surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor has a plurality of independent concave portions; when the average major diameter of the concave portions is represented by Rpc-A and the average depth indicating the distance between the deepest portion of the concave portion and the open hole face is represented by Rdv-A, the ratio (Rdc-A/Rpc-A) of the average depth (Rdv-A) to the average major diameter (Rpc-A) is larger than 0.3.
