METHOD FOR IMPROVING SHIFT FEELING OF AUTO TRANSMISSION

A method for improving the shift feeling of auto transmission is provided to improve of durability and shift feeling of transmission by maintaining the control hydraulic pressure of a confliction element in minimum hydraulic pressure considering the low engine torque. A method for improving the shift feeling of auto transmission comprises the steps of: starting the control of the speed-lowering of an engine torque at a shift starting point(1); reducing the engine torque from the shift starting point to target torque; enabling the shift by a release element and a engagement element in a state that the engine torque is maintained at the target torque for the interval of inertial state; and getting back the engine torque to its initial torque after the completion of inertial state.
