PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MALDI mass analyzing method which enables the prepation of a relatively homogeneous sample-matrix mixture and wide in an adaptation range of an analyzing target, and a MALDI mass analyzing method of high sensitivity suppressed in the dissociation of an acidic group or acidic sugar in the case where an acidic sugar chain is set to a measuring target. SOLUTION: The liquid matrix for MALDI mass analysis comprises an ionic liquid containing amine ions and p-coumaric acid ions, wherein the amine is 1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine.
