PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable workbench which allows each of ladder-like main leg portions for bearing a top board thereof to be singly used as a stepladder, thereby contributing to effective utilization thereof, allows the top board to conform to service conditions in the construction field by selecting an arbitrary length, is increased in bearing force for the top board to improve the safety thereof, and can be disassembled when moved or housed, thereby facilitating handling thereof. SOLUTION: The portable workbench consists of at least a pair of stepladders 5, and the top board 7 detachably stretched between step boards 6 arranged at upper locations of the respective stepladders 5.
