A signal receiving method for mobile communication terminal, which comprises: A. selecting some cells as active cells when signal power from these cells meets some predetermined criteria; B. estimating relative delay, adjusting the channel estimation windows of these active cells and the actual signal receipt starting positions; C. detaching service signal, performing macro-diversity joint detection according to the adjusted channel estimation windows and receiving the deposited signal as an effective service signal. The present invention also discloses a signal receiving apparatus for mobile communication terminal. By using the method and apparatus described in the present invention, an interference signal can be received as an effective signal and the signal receipt performance of the mobile communication terminal can be improved.
