An object of the present invention is to provide the cBN system cutting tool insert in which the resistivity about the cutter breaking is maintained while having the high abrasion resistance. The cutting tool insert, wherein the cBN content is 30 ~ <60 vol%; the peak height ratio of the most strong(101) cBN(111) peak and the TiB2 peak which is most strong in the X-ray diffraction spectroscopy pattern from the composite using the CuK alpha radiation is 0.02 less than; (200) peak from the titanium carbide nitride phase intersects with the vertical line of the PDF line of the TiN (PDF38-1420); and it is 0.01 less than of the maximum (200) peak height on the ceramic binder enhanced the cross point.
