<p>Location Determination Using Sequential Pattern Recognition A method for location' determination using sequential pattern recognition. The method comprises determining a specific sequence of identifiers of a plurality of base transceiver stations that control cells through which a mobile device has passed when travelling along a path. The specific sequence of identifiers of the plurality of base transceiver stations is compared with a look-up table stored in a database, the look-up table comprising all possible sequence of identifiers of base transceiver stations and a location for each of the sequence of identifiers of base transceiver stations. The location of the path is determined from the comparison.</p> |
