PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective circuit that can be manufactured at a low cost using common protective element without relying on an electric current rating and a voltage rating of a battery pack, in a protective circuit for protecting a battery pack from overcurrent and overvoltage using a protective element having a resistance heating element and a fuse element on a substrate, and a detection means. SOLUTION: A protective circuit for protecting a battery pack in which secondary batteries are connected in series from overcurrent and overvoltage, has a protective element having a heating resistance element and a fuse element on a substrate, and a detection means for detecting overvoltage and switching an electric current flowing through the heating resistance element. The protective elements are connected in plural and in parallel. A fuse element is blown out in each protective element during overcurrent, as well as the heating resistance element of each protective element is subjected to generation of heat by electric current flowing through the heating resistance element of each protective resistance element being switched on by the detection means during overvoltage, and consequently the fuse element is blown out.
