PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost rolling bearing exhibiting excellent sealing performance of the whole of a bearing including a bearing outer diameter side. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing is provided with: a bearing ring (inner ring 28, outer ring 30) relatively rotatably arranged opposite each other; and an annular seal 36 sealing a bearing inner part partitioned between the bearing rings from a bearing outer part, and a base end part 36e of the seal is fixed by one of the bearing rings (outer ring), and a front end 36t thereof is extended to the other bearing ring (inner ring). The base end of the seal is extended to cover the whole of a bearing outer part side end face 30a of the one bearing ring, and an extended end 36c thereof is protruded over the one bearing ring by a prescribed amountα.
