This invention discloses improved mold parts fashioned from a thermoplast ic resin compounded with an additive to reduce the surface energy of the mol d part (to below 30 mN/m). The mold parts can be used in manufacturing proce sses, such as, for example: continuous, in-line or batched processes of opht halmic lens molds.
