<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set used for an ink jet recording method for forming an image by superposing at least two aqueous inks having different hues to form a color image, which gives a brilliant color image having good resolution without exudation at the boundary between two colors of the color image printed by high speed printing even onto a plain paper having extremely bad ink absorbency or a coating medium having no aqueous ink receptive layer, and a method, an ink cartridge and an apparatus for performing inkjet recording using the ink set. <P>SOLUTION: An ink set used for an ink jet recording method for forming an image by superposing at least two aqueous inks A, B having different hues to form a color image is characterized in that the one ink A of the two inks A, B contains a water-dispersive colorant A1 having no surfactant-type dispersant and an anion compound A2, and the other ink B contains a water-dispersive colorant B1 having a surfactant-type dispersant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
