摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high concentration tin oxide ITO sintered article in which although tin oxide concentration is high, sintered density is 6.40 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more and residual stress is not present, and cracks do not occur after sintering. <P>SOLUTION: Indium oxide powder and tin oxide powder are mixed and calcined to obtain calcined powder in which In<SB>4</SB>Sn<SB>3</SB>O<SB>12</SB>phase is formed. The calcined powder is mixed with indium oxide powder so that the content of the tin oxide become 40-60 mass%, to give a raw material.
