VINYL ESTER RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl ester resin composition with a hydrotalcite particle not aggregated and finely dispersed even if hydrotalcite is compounded in a high concentration, and its production method.

SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of formulating hydrotalcite in a vinyl ester resin solution generated in production of a vinyl ester resin in which solution the vinyl ester resin with a saponification number of 0 mol% or larger to 65 mol% or smaller dissolved in a solvent with a boiling point lower than a decomposition temperature of the vinyl ester resin composing a vinyl ester resin composition providing a product, and drying to remove the solvent. When the vinyl ester resin solution before saponification or during a saponification reaction is used, saponification may be carried out after formulation of hydrotalcite.
