PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank with a joint adapter and its manufacturing method, capable of performing caulking fixation of the joint adapter even when an obstacle is present inside the tank and of positioning the joint adapter without increasing the number of working man-hours. SOLUTION: In the header tank 1 with the pipe joint adapter, the pipe joint adapter 2 is caulked and fixed to an adapter fitting hole 1d opened on the header tank 1. A caulking fixation piece 1e is provided in the position of the adapter fitting hole 1d in the header tank 1. In the pipe joint adapter 2, a caulking notch groove 2d having an adapter insertion groove part 2d' and an adapter rotation groove part 2d'' is provided in a position corresponding to the set position of the caulking fixation hole 1e. In the rotating end position with respect to the caulking notch groove 2d, the caulking fixation piece 1e is bent from the adapter fitting position, and the pipe joint adapter 2 is caulked and fixed with respect to the header tank 1.
