<p>The invention includes a tissue ablation device with curved needles providing a substantial technical advantage to the surgeon attempting to create a tract of ablation circumferentially around the entire tumor. The surgeon is able to preserve more healthy tissue, and needs to make few passes with the ablation device to effectively ablate around the entire tumor. The advantages create a more expeditious procedure. Reduction in the length of the surgery also results in lower risk to the patient.</p> |
