A plastic cap comprises a top plate part and a cylinder part extending down from its rim. The cylinder part is divided into a main section and a tamper evidence ring section connected with the main section through bridges. A screw section screwed on a male screw of a container is provided on the inner surface of the main section. An engaging projection which engages with the container in the case of uncapping and hinders movement of the tamper evidence ring section is provided on the tamper evidence ring section. On the inner surface of the cylinder part, from the main section to the tamper evidence ring section, a connecting projection part projects inward. One or more of the bridges are formed at the connecting projection part. An end in the uncapping direction is thinner than that in the capping direction.
