A system for operating cooperative buying events and a method therefor are provided to induce a purchaser to continuously use electronic commerce by offering a differential payment-in-kind event service. A cooperative buying event management system(105) comprises a payment server(200), a delivery server(205), an event server(210), a main server(215), a composite information DB(220), a product information DB(225), a purchaser DB(230), a seller DB(235) and transaction information DB(240). The payment server receives payment information related to a product that a purchasing client(100) wants, and then transmits payment information generated or updated therein to the composite information DB or extracts/transmits payment confirmation information to a user by requesting only payment information corresponding to the purchasing client. The delivery server provides the purchasing client with information related to the delivery state, that is, delivery preparation, progress of the delivery and completion of the delivery. The event server offers the purchasing client and a seller client(110) event information by extracting it from the composite information DB in case they request it. The main server collects information for the cooperative buying transaction and cooperative buying event by referring to the composite information DB, product information DB, purchaser DB, seller DB and transaction information DB, and then processes various information for the cooperative buying transaction and cooperative buying event to classify the processed information to be transmitted to each transmission unit. |
