RESONANT TAG

A resonant tag (20) for use with a radio-wave detection system for the prevention of shoplifting or the like which has a coil (1) and capacitor circuit (2, 3) formed on opposite sides of an extremely thin substrate (4) of a biaxially-oriented polypropylene, with one of the capacitor plates (2) formed on one side of the substrate and the coil (1) and other capacitor plate (3) formed on the other side of the substrate (4), and whereby the circuit can provide the same performance of a conventional resonant tag (10) but using a much smaller size.
