METHOD OF SECTIONAL CAST APPLICATION

FIELD: medicine; traumatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of sectional cast application includes cast section device applied to damaged body region and fixed. Section is formed using flexible profile. Cast is made of multilayered prepared plaster bandage of required shape and thickness attached to each other with external tie-plates. Edges of prepared blanks are folded back within prospective section point with beaded edges and tightly pressed to flexible profile comb. After cast is dried, profile is taken out. Cast is rigid fixed using device to produced section of doweled inserts with groove from lateral side for tightening bandage. ^ EFFECT: lowered painfulness within recover period due to smooth internal surface of cast and possibility of increase in its volume. ^ 2 dwg
