A medical herb extract for baeksuk(chicken boiled in plain water), a method for preparing the medical herb extract, a method for preparing baeksuk by using the extract, and the baeksuk prepared by the method are provided to obtain the baeksuk having medical action and health improving effect. A medical herb extract for baeksuk comprises an extract of a lacquer tree; Acanthopanacis Cortex; Acer tegmentosum Maximowocz; Kalopanax ricinifolium; Angelicae Gigantis Radix; Astragali Radix; a mulberry tree; Lycii folium; fatsia; the skin of root of Ulmus davidiana var.; a ginger plant; Pueraria thunbergiana BENTH.; Glycyrrhizae Radix; Hovenia dulcis var. koreana; and Coriolus versicolor. Preferably the extract is obtained by hot water.
