<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive ultrasonic probe by simplifying cable wiring between transducers and coupling connector terminals in the ultrasonic probe. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe is equipped with the plurality of ultrasonic transducers which transmit ultrasound in accordance with drive signals to be supplied and output detecting signals by receiving ultrasound echoes, the plurality of terminals provided on the connectors used to connect the plurality of ultrasonic transducers to the main frame of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, a plurality of cables for electrically connecting the plurality of ultrasonic transducers and the plurality of terminals, and a storage part for storing connection relation data which shows the connection relation between the plurality of ultrasonic transducers and the plurality of terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
