PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance performance effect by the variable display of a plurality of figures in a pinball game machine. SOLUTION: A win/loss lottery means executes a win/loss lottery for determining whether the shift to a special game should be made or not responding to the entry of the starter slot with balls. A pattern memory means holds a pseudo successive variation pattern in which figures are removed once from one or more of variation trains after being stopped and displayed tentatively to variably display the figures anew again. When the figures are variably displayed following the pseudo successive variation pattern, even once after performance figures are stopped and displayed tentatively in a mode showing a ready for win state, the restarting of the variation of the figures is possible.
