PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection sensor capable of reducing erroneous detection due to noise. SOLUTION: A CPU calculates a correction amount on the basis of a difference between a reference light receiving amount and a moving average value of a light reception signal level every predetermined period, and performs correction while making limitation so that the correction of a threshold level may be equal to or less than a limiting value in the case of both increasing the threshold level and decreasing the threshold level.
