<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device enabling vehicle stabilization control based on vehicle behavior detection by detecting a state that the vehicle behavior becomes unstable on an easily slipping road surface such as a snow road and its sign without adding a particular sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device is provided with an actual road surface reaction force torque detector 15; a motor angular velocity detector 13; a vehicle speed detector 11; and a vehicle behavior presumption means 17 for detecting the unstable state of the vehicle behavior from respective detection values of the actual road surface reaction force torque, the motor angular velocity and vehicle speed. Assist torque for stabilizing the vehicle behavior is given based on the presumption result stability(s) of the vehicle behavior state to stabilize the vehicle behavior. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
