OPTICAL FILM HAVING A PLURALITY OF STRUCTURES AND BACKLIGHT UNIT INCLUDING THE SAME

An optical film having plural structures and a backlight unit including the same are provided to reduce or remove a wet-out phenomenon by forming peaks of the structures at different heights to reduce a contact area with another optical film. An optical film(200) includes one surface which is structuralized with a plurality of structures and the other surface which is smooth and opposite to the structuralized surface. The structures have a prism-shaped cross section and a height difference of 1 to 10mum in a longitudinal direction thereof. The structure has a continuous curved surface composed of peaks(232) and valleys(234) in the longitudinal direction thereof. A longitudinal height of the structure is randomly changed.
