<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the storage of a peripheral image by accurately judging a slight collision according to information showing the traveling history information of a mobile object or the driving skill level of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: In an information recording device 100 in which the peripheral video of a mobile object whose image is picked up from the mobile object is recorded so as to be overwritten, a detection part 101 detects an output value from a collision sensor relating to collision with the mobile object. When an output value from the collision sensor is detected, a determination part 102 determines a threshold for determining whether or not there exists an object brought into contact with the mobile object according to information related with the traveling state of the mobile object. A decision part 103 compares an output value with a threshold, and determines whether or not there exists an object brought into contact with the mobile object. Then, when there exists the object brought into contact with the mobile object as the determination result, a storage part 104 stores a peripheral video in a recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
