<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing toner of large particle diameter from staying at the ends of a developing roller, thereby preventing image quality degradation caused by caking of the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A stirring means that stirs the toner in a casing 21 is formed from: a sheetlike paddle 26 extending parallel to the developing roller 22; an agitator 27 which is rotated around an axis parallel to the paddle 26 and strikes against the paddle 26, thereby stirring toner; and conveying members 28 which are rotated integrally with the agitator 27 and convey toner from the middle of the paddle 26 to the ends of it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
