The sectional furniture unit is for use in shops selling articles such as clothing, perfumery, pharmaceutical goods and consists of a central prismatic unit (1) with upper (10) and lower (11) surfaces possessing supports for shelves (2). The shelving (2) extends from the side rims of the central unit (1). The supports consist of grooves (13) in the top and bottom surfaces (10, 11) of the central unit (1), into which slot matching-shaped tongues (20) on the shelves (2), which wedge together.
