APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING A DISTORTIONLESS VECTOR PERTURBATION IN MULIPLE ANTENNA SYSTEM

An apparatus and a method for supporting a distortionless vector perturbation in a multiple antenna system are provided to enhance the output performance of the SINR(Signal-to-Interference-and Noise Ratio) value by combining with SLA(SeLective Mapping) algorithm. Label inserting devices(300-1,...,300-k) produce labels to the user information bits and insert the labels. Scramblers(302-1,...,302-k) scramble the user information bits with the inserted labels and produces the number N of independent candidate sequences. A modulator(304-1) modulates the number N of independent candidate sequences according to the corresponding modulation manners. A vector perturbation member(306-1) adds the limited offset vector so that the modulation symbols are mapped to the point of the operable area. A selector selects and outputs the candidate sequence having the maximum SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) value among the candidate sequences. The vector perturbation member calculates the optimum offset vector and adds the calculated vector to a data vector.
