FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: silencer incorporates a casing formed by two hollow cylinders. The inlet and outlet branch pipes are attached to one of the cylinder end faces, while those of the other cylinder are plugged. Partitions are arranged inside the cylinders representing the plates with their size equal to cylinder inner diametre. The said partitions are jointed together by a rod. Note that the partitions in one cylinder are arranged staggered relative to the partitions in the other cylinder. The spaces in both cylinders formed by the said partitions are coupled by adapters arranged in the bores of every cylinder.
