摘要 <p>An anaerobic or anoxic reactor employing specific gravity-controlled media is provided to treat wastewater with high concentration and high toxicity easily and highly efficiently by injecting gas into the reactor through a gas diffuser or cutting off the injection of gas into the reactor, thereby controlling a media layer to a fluidized state or a fixed state, and an apparatus and a method for treating wastewater using the reactor is provided. A biological anaerobic reactor comprises: a reactor(1) comprising a fixed media layer(3) formed on the surface of water in the reactor, composed of submerged floating type media with controlled specific gravity, and selectively fluidized; an air diffuser(5); a liquid distribution pipe(4) for flowing wastewater into the reactor to distribute wastewater into the reactor; and a treated water separator(6) for separately discharging gas and media from treated water passing through the media layer, wherein the biological anaerobic reactor is operated in a fluidized bed or a fixed bed according to operation of the air diffuser. The treated water separator is submerged into a surface layer of water, and comprises a tubular media blocking pipe(7) in which a plurality of small holes smaller than the media are formed, and a gas blocking plate(8) integrally formed in a "∧" on a bottom part of the media blocking pipe to discharge the treated water only into the media blocking pipe by separating the respective media and gas from treated water. The biological anaerobic reactor further comprises an exhaust port(14) formed on a top part of the reactor to exhaust anaerobic gas, and a blower(18) communicating with the air diffuser to recirculate a portion of the anaerobic gas exhausted through the exhaust port into the reactor.</p>
