<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a branch pipe accurately cut to the length along a pipe route to an installation device from a drawing beforehand without producing an extra end part between a header and the installation device. <P>SOLUTION: In this header piping system, a fixing position nearest the expected installation position of the installation device among the fixing positions where the branch pipe 3 is fixed in the pipe route is set to a reference fixing position Q<SB>1</SB>, and the length between the reference fixing position Q<SB>1</SB>and the connection part w of the installation device is calculated. On the other hand, a pipe reference position 3x corresponding to the calculated length between the reference fixing position Q<SB>1</SB>and the connection part w of the installation device is marked on the surface of the branch pipe 3 pre-cut to the length laid down from the branch connection part h of a header H to the connection part w of the installation device along the piping route.
