THEFT ALARM, PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND THEFT ALARM METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theft alarm system tracking a stolen article.

SOLUTION: A theft detector 10 detects theft of an article and transmits a theft signal including an individual identification number and current positional information. A mobile terminal 20 within the reach of electric waves from the theft detector 10 receives the theft signal and transmits a theft detection mail including the individual identification number and the current positional information to a management server 60. The management server 60 receiving the theft detection mail transmits an alarm mail including the theft signal to a mail address of a mobile terminal 22 corresponding to the identification number. The mobile terminal 22 receiving the alarm mail reports the theft to the police in response to receipt of a response mail requesting a report to the police.
