PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing method in which a superior brazed state is obtained in the brazing using a paste-like filler metal. SOLUTION: This is a brazing method for joining a tube 111 for a heat exchanger 100, in which an inner fluid is made to flow through to exchange heat with an outer fluid, and a fin 112 for expanding a heat exchanging area at the time of heat exchange, using a paste-like filler metal 115. The method comprises: an assembling process for alternately stacking the tube 111 and the fin 112 to form an assembled body; a coating process for coating the vicinity of the outside areas 111a, 111c of the contact part 116 between the tube 111 and the fin 112 with a filler metal 115; and a brazing process for brazing the tube 111 and the fin 112 by putting the assembled body coated with the filler metal 115 in the coating process into a brazing furnace.
