PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user precisely know an emergency communication mode operation for reporting an emergency state without being known in the neighborhood. SOLUTION: In a radio device 1, when a communication section 16 receives and transmits an emergency report signal on the basis of an instruction from a communication mode instruction key 22 under control of a control section 11, a silent report section 19 silently reports that it is made by an emergency communication mode action.
