The handling device has a contained, spring-tensioned resetting part (13), in which in a recess part (14) of a machine spindle is contained. A rigid side part (40) having a turning handle (41) is provided and connected to a case element (42) and having an axially lengthwise slot (43) provided in a case wall (44). The front edge (25) axially follows a cylindrical guide section (45) which is provided with an internal thread (47). An axial screw (46) on the thread section (16) of a linkage (15) fits and can be screwed under axial shift of the resetter (13) against its spring load.
