PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric module of a long life in which the flatness of a division substrate is improved and a moisture prevention countermeasure is easily applied. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric module 10 comprises upper substrates 11, 12, 13, and 14 where wiring patterns 11a, 12a, 13a, and 14a for thermoelectric elements are formed on rear surfaces, a lower substrate 15 where a wiring pattern 15a for a thermoelectric element is formed on its front surface, and a plurality of thermoelectric elements 16 that are so arranged and secured as to be connected in series between the wiring patterns for thermoelectric elements of both substrates. The upper substrates 11, 12, 13, and 14 are divided into a plurality of pieces, and metalizing layers 11b, 12b, 13b, and 14b are formed on such a surface that the wiring patterns 11a, 12a, 13a, and 14a for thermoelectric elements are not formed.
