PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal unit which eliminates the need to use screws etc., decreases the number of components and improves assembly operability and can be manufactured inexpensively. SOLUTION: On a top surface of a storage case 2, a panel storage part 7 is formed which is formed by circumferntially providing wall parts 9 and where a liquid crystal panel 3 can be stored, and on a reverse surface of the storage case 2, a substrate storage part 8 is provided which can store a substrate 5. Along a left-side wall part 9 of the panel storage part 7, an opening 10 is formed which links the panel storage part 7 and substrate storage part 8 to each other, and a connection member 6 which extends to the panel storage part 7 and substrate part 8 is installed in the opening 10. A land part 14 which is grounded is provided on a surface of the substrate 5 which contacts the storage case 2, and the liquid crystal panel 3 is stored in the panel storage part 7 to clap and fix the liquid crystal panel 3 by a right wall part 9 and the connection member 6 and also electrically connect a metallic outer hull part 3b and land part 14 through the connection member 6.
