PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery terminal excelling in operability related to attachment to a battery post, and reliability after the attachment. SOLUTION: This battery terminal 2 includes: a terminal body 3 having a fitting part 5 winding around the outer periphery of the battery post 1, and both its ends formed into a pair of elastic plates 6 and 7; and a lock lever 4 having a base end rotatably connected to the elastic plate 6, and having a tip part 16 locked to the elastic plate 7 by a rotating operation toward the elastic plate 7 to reduce the diameter of the fitting part 5 by making both the elastic plates 6 and 7 adjacent to each other. The base end of the lock lever 4 is connected rotatably around a bolt 14 in parallel to the projecting direction of the elastic plate 6, and the tip part 16 can be locked to the elastic plate 7 by a falling operation from the upper side.
