PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baggage holding device stored not to project from the surroundings when unused and capable of projecting from the surroundings to hold baggage when necessary. SOLUTION: This baggage holding device is provided with a bar 2 arranged in the vicinity of a ceiling 92 inside a cabin to extend to the vehicle width direction; connection members 3 connecting the ceiling 92 with the bar 2 and formed to be extendable; and fixing members for fixing the bar 2 to a position where the bar 2 is not protruded from the surroundings with the connection members 3 contracted and fixing the bar 2 to a position where the bar 2 is protruded from the surroundings with the connection members 3 extended.
