PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular travel safety device capable of estimating the dependence of a driver on the safety device and reflecting it on the operation of the safety device. SOLUTION: The vehicular travel safety device comprises a vehicle accelerated state detection unit 13b and an accelerating operation detection unit 13c for detecting a will of a driver for acceleration, a dependence determination distance calculation unit 19a for calculating a dependence determination distance to a recognized curve, and a dependence estimation unit 19 for estimating the dependence of the driver on a safety device 18. The dependence estimation unit 19 estimates that the driver is dependent on the safety device 18 when the distance between a one's own vehicle position detected by a one's own vehicle position detection unit 12 and an entrance of the recognized curve is equal to or shorter than the dependence determination distance calculated by the dependence determination distance calculation unit 19a, and a will of an occupant for acceleration is detected, or changes setting so that the operation of the safety device 18 is suppressed when it is estimated that the driver is dependent on the safety device 18.
